Żyjące na powierzchni zwierzęta uległy bowiem różnego rodzaju mutacjom, stając się bardzo groźnymi monstrami. To właśnie te organizmy z powierzchni pewnego razu zaczęły nękać mieszkańców północnej strefy schronu, zwanej VDNH. Z czasem ich ataki stały się coraz groźniejsze, a zwarta defensywa, zorganizowana przez mieszkańców tej części obiektu, z czasem została silnie przetrzebiona. Gracz rozpoczyna rozgrywkę od przejęcia kontroli nad jednym z młodych mieszkańców VDNH, który ma za zadanie przedostać się do legendarnego Polis, centralnej części metra, powiadomić tamtejszych mieszkańców o zbliżającym się niebezpieczeństwie i jednocześnie poprosić o wsparcie nadwątlonych linii obrony. Oczywiście podróż do serca schronu nie jest usłana fiołkami, nie wspominając już o różach - na każdym kroku czyhają bowiem niebezpieczeństwa, gwarantujące potencjalnemu graczowi nieprzerwanie szybką akcję w podziemnych tunelach moskiewskich. Na swej drodze napotykamy wiele różnego rodzaju ekwipunku, w tym broni i gadżetów ułatwiających przeżycie w niebezpiecznym gracz może również spróbować swoich sił w skradaniu i zamiast szarży na stanowiska wroga, przyczaić się i korzystając z osłony ciemności po cichu eliminować kolejnych przeciwników. Metro, úkryt krys a všemožné havěti, představuje pro mnohé noční můru, a to i bez znalosti jedné krvavé povídky od Cliva Barkera. A co potom když je to metro v Moskvě a navíc ho obývají zmutovaná monstra…Není to tak dávno, co se nám znenadání vynořil nový velice slibný herní projekt. První, co mě napadlo při pohledu na screeny nebo když jsem slyšel příběh, bylo jediné: Podobnost není ani zdaleka náhodná. Metro začalo vznikat tak, že se skupina nadšenců rozhodla kvůli neustálému odkládáni výše zmíněného projektu začít dělat „vlastního Stalkera“. Ale z tohoto zprvu komorního projektu se zrodilo cosi monumentálního a teď aspiruje dokonce ještě výš než jeho vlastní vzor. Připravil jsem si tedy pro vás takové malé porovnaní, které vám Metro přiblíží jistě víc než jenom obyčejný suchý ty jsou opravdu jako přes kopírák a shodou okolností měli oba knižní předlohu. V obou je nukleární katastrofa, zmutované druhy na povrchu a tak dále. A teď se dostáváme k názvu Metra. Myslím, že je to velice prosté. Začneme odzadu. 2033 – to je letopočet jaderné katastrofy, koho by to napadlo, že? A Metro? Když se stal povrch takřka neobyvatelným, lidé prchli do jediného funkčního místa na planetě… Do Moskevského metra. Tam se vytvořili navzájem se nesnášející frakce. Které proti sobě bojují, nebo spolu obchodují. I když je to značně triviální zápletka, je rozhodně (alespoň pro mne) přitažlivější než ta hodně podobná „Stalkerovská“, ve které explodoval pouze jediný alespoň ty představil funkční svět. A podobně jako Oblivion nebo Gothic 3 měl i své vlastní biorytmy, potravní řetězce a vy jste měli více či méně funkční konkurenci. V Metru je to dle všech náznaků zjednodušeno, spousta věcí nebude dána AI, ale pouze skripty. Konkurence by však měla být velice schopná a hra údajně obsahuje i takové podzemní mini války. Protivníci uhýbají palbě, navzájem se kryjí a skutečně vám jako ve usilují o život. Místo klasických peněz (jako u Stalkera) budete jako platidlo používat náboje. Takže je na vás, zda budete neuváženě kropit nepřátele dávkami ze samopalu, nebo jim podřezávat hrdla nožem. V jednou případě budete mít hru celkem snadnou, ale nic si nekoupíte, čímž vám uniknou zajímavé bonusy. A druhá cesta je vcelku jasná. Právě tato bilaterálnost má přilákat ke hře „davy“. Když si budete tiše kleštit cestičku nožem, můžete si koupit např. speciální oblek, jenž vám dovolí podívat se na povrch a tam následně získat zajímavé bonusy. Váš pobyt na povrchu je ale velice dobře vyřešen zamlžováním brýlí… A poslepu střílet nebo se dokonce se z bodu A dostat do bodu B je jaksi chystaném titulu od 4A Games, což je jméno studia, které tento očekávaný projekt chystá, se dočkáme opravdu hutné atmosféry, kterou bude podstatně dokreslovat úžasná grafika, jež se bohužel (Nebo snad bohudík? Jak kdo cítí) stává dnes už u her samozřejmostí. Po nuklearnej apokalipsie świat jaki znamy przestał istnieć, większość ludzi wyginęła, a przeżyć udało się kilkutysięcznej grupie osób znajdujących się na terenach moskiewskiego metra. Nie oznacza to jednak, że po tym wydarzeniu wszystko wróciło do normy. Mieszkańcy nietypowego schronienia nękani są bowiem przez zmutowane zwierzęta z powierzchni, coraz częściej atakujące ostatnich przedstawicieli ludzi. Gracz wciela się w Artema – młodego mężczyznę, mieszkającego w północnej strefie schronu, której defensywa chyli się ku upadkowi. Zostaje on wysłany do Polis - centralnej części metra, by powiadomić tamtejszych mieszkańców o zbliżającym się niebezpieczeństwie ze strony potworów i jednocześnie poprosić ich o wsparcie nadwątlonych linii łączy w sobie cechy strzelanki FPP z elementami gatunku survival horror. Twórcy oddali do naszej dyspozycji różne możliwości zabawy. Podstawową jest oczywiście posyłanie kolejnych kul w stronę wroga, jednak nierzadko musimy też wykorzystać ciemność, by przemknąć niezauważonym. Jednocześnie należy pamiętać, że w grze rolę waluty spełniają naboje. Deweloperzy przygotowali kilka rodzajów broni i gadżetów. Przede wszystkim udostępniono tradycyjne narzędzia mordu pokroju noża, obrzyna, karabinu i strzelby. Oprócz tego w grze pojawiają się także wyjątkowe pukawki, jak np. broń wystrzeliwująca stalowe bełty czy pneumatyczny karabin na stalowe kulki. Dodatkowo podczas zabawy wykorzystujemy maskę gazową oraz prądnicę, służącą do zasilania latarki oraz 2033 Redux działa w oparciu o najnowszą wersję silnika 4A Engine, dzięki czemu może się pochwalić znacznie ulepszoną w stosunku do pierwowzoru oprawą graficzną. Deweloperzy zatroszczyli się o zaawansowany system oświetlenia, dynamiczną pogodę, usprawnione animacje i bardziej dopieszczone modele otrzymała także dwie unikalne opcje zabawy – Survival, zorientowany na dostarczanie wrażeń rodem z gatunku survival horror (limitowane surowce, groźniejsi przeciwnicy, dłuższe czasy przeładowywania broni) oraz Spartan, czyli tryb nastawiony na akcję (Artem posiada potężne umiejętności bojowe, większe zapasy surowców). Nie zabrakło także kultowego Ranger Mode.
I loved Last Light on the 360. It looked fantastic and should look unreal on the X1. Never played 2033 but looking forward to it. Good achievement list but has a few of the eye-rolling ones.
